The Global Research & Industry Alliance of National Cheng Kung University (GLORIA NCKU) is set to work closely with world renowned engineering service provider CTCI Group after an MOU was signed between the two parties on Oct. 31.
Such cooperation will include various fields, such as smart engineering, smart factories, green industry, big data analyses and many others, the alliance said in a statement recently.
Jenny Su, NCKU President, signed the pact with her counterpart, John T. Yu, CTCI Group Chairman, at a ceremony witnessed by many heavyweights from the two parties in Taipei.
“We believe the tie up and application exchange can speed up our intelligent transformation,” said Yu, adding that his group is determined to improving its engineering integration capabilities and cultivating engineering talents.
Su echoed his remarks, saying that her school is CTCI’s best partner in Taiwan as it also focuses heavily on smart technology and its application. The school’s nine colleges and over 80 research centers will be deeply involved in this project, with the aims of forging “the most trustworthy global engineering service provider team,” according to the Tainan-based university.
CTCI is a world renowned Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services provider.
